MediaMaster® Remote App: Bluetooth® Pairing Process

The MediaMaster® Remote application uses Bluetooth® to communicate with your source unit. This procedure will work on all the models listed below:

 

  • MM105
  • MM105-HR
  • MM55
  • MM55-HR

 

Ensure that your mobile device's Bluetooth® function is enabled before beginning the pairing process below. 

Note: All compatible MediaMaster® source units or connected network remotes will require the latest software update to use the MediaMaster® Remote application, update links can be found at the bottom of this article. 

 

Follow these steps to pair using a MediaMaster® source unit, MMR-40 remote, or MFD via a MMA-1-HTML:

1. Press and hold SETTINGS to access the System Settings: Main Menu.

2. Select Mobile Application.

3. Select Pair Mobile Application.

4. Open the MediaMaster® Remote App on your device.

5. Press Search For Device.

6. Select the source unit device App-JLA MediaMaster.

7. If a Bluetooth pairing request appears, select Pair.

Follow these steps to pair from a MM105-HR or MM55-HR, which has no connected remote:

When powered up, the source unit will automatically enter pairing mode for 60 seconds. During this time, open the MediaMaster® Remote App on your device and follow steps 4 through 7 above to pair.
