When using Expert Assist, a prompt will appear asking the user to identify which channels need to remain unmuted for the tuning process. The user needs to select which channels should remain unmuted by unmuting those channels now. This should be done on the Network Tab in TüN® Software. For example, below is a diagram with a four channel system with pre-outs feeding a subwoofer. In this case, there are no channels that need to remain unmuted. The channels feeding the subwoofer amplifier should have been selected as a channel that needs to be tuned. All crossover settings on the RD amplifier should remain off.

In the next example, the amplifier has been configured with a S/PDIF / Optical loopback for additional tuning capabilities using the built in pre-out EQ.

In the final example, there are two VXi amplifiers using a VXi-Hub for communication only. In this case, the first amplifier is feeding signal to the second amplifier. Those pre-outs are the only channels that should remain unmuted.
