Warranty & Non-Warranty Repair Service Options

The service options and pricing listed in this article apply to customers inside the USA only. If you reside outside the USA, contact an authorized dealer or distributor in your country for service options. Find the distributors in your country using our Dealer Locator.

How do I get my product repaired?

All warranty and non-warranty returns should be sent to JL Audio freight prepaid through an authorized JL Audio dealer and must be accompanied by proof of purchase (a copy of the original sales receipt.)

If there is not a JL Audio dealer within a reasonable distance, you can also start the repair process by Requesting a Return Authorization (RA) through our Customer Support team.

Can I purchase parts to do my own repairs?

While we do offer replacement parts these offerings will not include any internal parts for electronics, loudspeakers, or subwoofers (including recone kits), nor do we offer any repair manuals or schematics. Our repair center has been specially designed to service the JL Audio products listed below, with original parts, in order to ensure the repaired items work just as they did when new.

Is my product covered under warranty?

The JL Audio manufacturer's warranty varies with product type. For details, please review our Warranty Information.

How long will my repair take?

Typical turnaround time for most repairs is three weeks, however, part availability may prolong repair time.

Certain subwoofer lines listed below are eligible for a streamlined 3-day turnaround time. For more information, see our Subwoofer Driver Service Upgrade article.

How much will my repair cost?

Out of warranty repair cost varies with product model. See the pricing schedule below for pricing of current, repairable products. Mobile and Marine products not listed on the pricing schedule cannot be repaired by JL Audio.

Note an additional $60 re-serialization fee will be charged for any eligible product returned for non-warranty service with defaced, altered, or removed serial numbers.

Pricing includes return freight.

Payments are made to the authorized dealer.

Will my product be covered under warranty after the repair?

Serviced mobile, marine, and powersports products will carry a 1-year parts and labor warranty from the date of return shipment.
